Our Team

Lindsey Archibald

Former Rangers season ticket holder Lindsey Archibald can't believe her luck working for the team she loves.

No stranger to TV she joined the official club station after leaving ITV Border where she presented and reported for the flagship evening news programme 'Lookaround' for two years.

After graduating from university in Edinburgh Lindsey embarked on a career in Radio before hitting our screens. For four years she worked at a number of stations in Scotland as well as freelancing in London. Along the way the 27 year old has presented SPL football on Radio Forth's Superscoreboard as well as presenting and reporting for Real Radio and Kingdom FM.

Lindsey has been attending Rangers matches with her family since she was 12. She said "The 9-in-a row period was the best time for Rangers. The atmosphere was fantastic and week in week out fans were treated to something special on the park." During her broadcasting carreer she has interviewed the majority of her 9-in-a row heros but there is one man who has eluded her.

Lindsey said "Brian Laudrup is my all time favourite player but i haven't managed to catch up with him yet. But hopefully being the new Rangers TV presenter he has no place to hide now."

Keith Downie - Reporter

Keith is our roving reporter who is first with all the news and views from Ibrox every day. A lot of the time he is based at Murray Park interviewing the management team and players, while also joining the squad on their European adventures abroad. As the club's offical TV channel, Rangers TV get the big breaking stories before anyone else and Keith will be first to bring them to you, the fans.

"It's a dream job," he says, "getting the inside info on a club who are clearly going places under the stewardship of manager Walter Smith. It has been a real eye opener for me and it's great doing a job that you love. Travelling with the side to places like Israel and Montenegro is an unbelievable experience." And it's not just the first team that Keith brings the news from. He concentrates a lot of his time making sure youngsters coming through the ranks at Murray Park are given coverage on RTV.

Keith, who is from Edinburgh, always had his heart set on being a sports reporter and kicked off his career by graduating with a degree in Journalism at Edinburgh's Napier University back in 2003. Since then he has worked across the board in newspapers, radio and television and got his big move to Rangers TV in June, 2006. Keith has written for a number of regional newspapers and worked for Radio Forth covering SPL matches in the past.  When the opportunity to join Rangers TV arrived it was too big an opportunity to miss and Keith jumped at the chance to join the Setanta team, leaving a radio mic behind for the camera.

Keith can also be seen as studio guest on Ibrox Uncovered, every Friday. He says the best part of the job is covering the big European match action and watching from close quarters as the new era under Walter Smith and Ally McCoist takes shape at Ibrox.
