I’ve talked about the pre-match build now it’s time to get down and dirty with the main event.  It’s the first European final in 36 years for Rangers.  It’s happening in Manchester on Wednesday night and at 6pm, on the day of the final don’t miss a special 90minutes long, Ibrox Uncovered LIVE from Glasgow AND from Manchester…just what the doctor ordered to calm the nerves and to get focused.

We will be all over the event with Lindsay Archibald in Glasgow and Michael Douglas in Manchester.  Not only will they be capturing the carnival atmosphere as the final gets ever closer but crucially bringing you any team news as it breaks.  
This is it!!  It’s happening….a European Cup Final…a slice of history…. and we will be there in the hours and in the moments leading up to kick-off…think of us like ground control at NASA prior to a Shuttle launch.  You won’t miss a thing by keeping it to RangersTV…… in fact forget NASA, think of us like the  Thunderbirds team and…STAND BY FOR ACTION!

I can hardly wait…even writing this stuff is getting me going, I’ve found myself out in the garden kicking a ball around with my Rangers top on, which is strange ‘cause I don’t have a garden.

I was too young in ‘72 so I’m not going to miss any of the build-up and want to ‘glory’, in every moment of this UEFA Cup week.  Did I not wish you all Merry UEFA Cup Final week?  Sorry about that, how remiss…must remember to wish some of my non-Rangers supporting friends that tomorrow!

And have you rooked yourself by buying all the souvenir editions of the newspapers?  Have you a mountain of paper in the living room which prevents most of the family seeing the TV?  Thought so, it’s a touch of Light Blue’itis but don’t worry it’s incurable.  

As I’ve said, on Wednesday we’re live from 6pm, but, (in the style of those cheesy television commercials for CD box sets)…. that’s not all! 

After the final at 10pm we’re staging the number 1 phone-in show, Bluebells with Lindsay Archibald.

The phone lines will be busier than a Manchester B&B displaying a Vacancy sign, so you’d better be quick off the mark to get your call on air.  You too could be part of history by being part of the show which tens of thousands will be taping and watching in the days following the final.

So to recap, we are in Manchester not only on the Tuesday night for a live phone before the final but on Wednesday at 6pm there’s a special 90minutes, Ibrox Uncovered, LIVE from Manchester and from Glasgow.  Then after the game, Bluebells at 10pm for your chance to talk about a historic night…… if you’ve still a voice left that is.
